Hello there...

For quite a while now, my mom has been telling me I should write a blog. When I asked her what about, she told me I should write about what is going on in my life. I didn't really like that idea, so I never gave it much thought. The other night though I came up with the idea for this blog by looking outside at the beautiful falling snow. There is much ugliness in this world, but there is also so much beauty. We forget to "stop and smell the roses," and look around at all that beauty. I want to share all the simple but beautiful things we often look over in life. I'm new to this whole blogging thing, but I have always loved to write, so I decided to start this, and we'll just see how it goes. Hang in there with me, and remember, there is beauty in this world after all...
